The Nittany Highland Pipe Band is one of the only pipe & drum bands in Central Pennsylvania. Based in the home of the Pennsylvania State University, the band draws players from the State College, Lock Haven, Williamsport, Lewistown, and Altoona areas, encompassing an extremely broad area.

The band maintains an active performance schedule, serving the community through performances in parades, festivals, benefits, and gatherings all across PA, as well as offering instruction on the Great Highland Bagpipe and highland drumming.

The band's kilts are in the Ancient Forbes tartan.
